Learn The Complete Moving Pictures Album Note for Note on Guitar

Moving Pictures was the first Rush album I ever bought. I was in my early twenties at that time.
Completely blown away, within a week, I bought all the rest of Rush’s albums.
While I have always been a huge Rush fan, buying all their albums: the album that stands out for me is still the first Rush album I ever bought.

Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson and Neil Peart have outdone themselves on Moving Pictures.
While my music collection spans about +50,000 songs by now: Moving Pictures is still one of my all-time favorite albums.

Everything about that album is special: including the cover art.

The album cover art is a visual pun on the title, and a triple entendre. The first meaning is represented by the movers carrying pictures. The second meaning is represented by the people watching the movers, those people emotionally moved by the pictures. The third meaning is shown on the back cover, where the entire scene is revealed to be a set for a motion picture.

You can read more about the album here: Wikipedia Post about Moving Pictures
