About 3-4 years ago, there was a lot to do about the huge decline in the popularity of the guitar. It seemed like everybody just wanted to create beats or do EDM music. Guitar sales were at an all-time low. Guitar magazines and forums even talked about “The Death of Guitar”
The following article that was posted in 2017, shows that it wasn’t as bad as most of the media tried to depict it and makes interesting points.
Interestingly enough, guitar sales shot up completely in 2020 when the pandemic hit. Guitar is big again. Hooray!!!
